This is the last routine meeting for the Newcastle Toastmasters Club in 2023. We will host our Christmas Party on the week after, and then have a break over the summer until 2024. There will be some festive spirit for our members as we gather at Souths to present our speeches and celebrate the year. All are welcome to visit. Please arrive by 6:45 pm for a 7 pm start.
2023 Evaluation and International Speech Contests at the Newcastle Toastmasters Club
All are welcome to see local public speaking competitions. The Newcastle Toastmasters Club will host Evaluation and International Speech Contests on Thursday, 23rd November 2023 at Souths Merewether. Please arrive by 6:45 pm for a 7 pm start.
Show and Tell Themed Meeting of Demonstrations and Speaking With Visual Aids
Visual aids and demonstrations can enhance a speech. Applying this “show and tell” theme to our professional and personal public speaking skills, we can grow our understanding of visuals for presentations.
Book-Themed Meeting at the Newcastle Toastmasters Club
Themed meetings are a fun way to mix it up beyond the usual routine. Our diverse group of professionals and leaders are inspired by books for our speeches around the time of Book Week. This is because books inspire speakers’ information, technical knowledge, storytelling and poetry.

Open Night Nov 2023
The Newcastle Toastmasters Club will host an Open Night to showcase what we do. This is suitable for corporate professionals, community leaders, students and anyone who wants to gain confidence. We learn to present speeches and overcome our fears.
